Have you heard of upcycling? If not, you are missing out on one of the easiest ways to save money, create unique and stunning decor, and make your home more efficient. Upcycling is when you find old or unwanted items, use them for their original purpose, and then re-purpose them into something else. We are going to use these same ideas to create a unique feature for our homes. Upcycling glass is a wonderful concept that can also be quite dangerous unless you know how to do it safely. Upcycling is evergreen and ever-popular DIY (Do It Yourself) that encourages you to clean out your basement and attic, collect items you find in the garbage, and find new and creative ways to use them. It’s an easy and inexpensive way to reuse things in your house and have them look good.

  • Turn bottles into vases

Most people don’t realize they can turn any bottle into a vase, but it’s true. All you need to do is cut the bottle in half, then tape a flower on top, then glue the bottom back on. In this article, I’ll show you how to make a vase out of a bottle that is uniquely shaped. Sometimes, you may have a container that is not perfectly rectangular, square or circular.

  • Create pieces of furniture using glass

I love the look of Glass and the fact that you can use it in a variety of situations, plus I found glass is very cheap. If you want to use glass in your home, it’s possible to use it in various ways. For example, you can use glass for flooring and hang pictures. You can also use glass for your furniture, and even for a lamp.

  • Fairy Light bottle

Fairy lights are a must-have for any window-dwelling household. They are perfect for adding a touch of color to your home and provide a fun, whimsical atmosphere at night. However, their presence can become a little cloying when they’re used inside. In the winter months, the cold and dry air can take its toll on your fairy lights, causing them to burn out. It’s no secret that fairy lights are a great way to add a touch of light and sparkle to a room. However, they’re not only pretty to look at, but they also create a captivating atmosphere. Especially, if you happen to have some light boards on your wall (similar to the ones designed by Neon Mama), these fairy lights can go well in hand with them. Using fairy lights as a way to light up an entire room is a great way to add a feeling of warmth, bringing a sense of magic into your home.

  • Make Flatten wine bottles for cheese and antipasti boards

No need to give up on wine just yet. The flat side of a wine bottle can be used as a cutting board or a cheese plate, and the best part is, you can make it in the comfort of your own home. We are all about making our homes unique in the most interesting way possible.

We are not ashamed to admit that we love drinking wine with the family, and especially when the better bottles of the bunch are aged in the more beautiful glassware. Once the wine is drained, the bottles can be used to decorate your house. Just in case you haven’t already, you should consider placing them in a sitting area for a prime setup. When you want to make an impressive cheese or antipasti board but don’t have an extra-large wine bottle in the fridge, you can flatten them out and use them as cutting boards. You’ll need a wine bottle and a board of your choice.

When we think of Upcycling, the first thing that comes up is Plastic. But what about Glass? I mean, it is, after all, a very durable material, and it is eco-friendly as well. So why does it not get a lot of use in the Upcycling world? In just a few seconds, you can upcycle glass into something decorative and useful. This can be done by simply recutting the glass into a new shape.

Glass can be cut into shapes such as hearts, stars, etc. This can also be done with single-color glass. However, it is difficult to color glass by recutting it. This is because the color of the glass will be transferred to the new shape for the same reason that color can be transferred when you paint glass.
